Our idea of a GNSS disciplined oscillator:
- take any low cost VCXO in the 1-25MHz range
- convert the output to CMOS and feed it into a MCU (STM32F103Tx)
- connect a one or more CAP/MAT lines of the MCU to one or more PPS outputs of GNSS receiver
- implement a digital PLL based on simple counters to tune the frequency
- steer the VCXO with a filtered PWM
- output the MCO (Master Clock Output) on a RF connector
